Letters From Nantucket began in 2015 when Michelle set out on a quest to find like minded creative souls who enjoy making, sending, and receiving mail art. Since then, it has grown to include the art of planning in Michelle’s Hobonichi, documenting life in her travelers notebooks, and creating and assembling her own scrap journals.
In the fall of 2016, Letters From Nantucket found a presence at the Artists Association of Nantucket’s childrens arts program, and Michelle taught a scrap journals class to 5 amazing tween girls. She hopes to teach again soon.
In 2017, Michelle established a new platform for Letters From Nantucket on YouTube. Joining the online community of paper creatives, Michelle has expanded her presence online to include her creative process and tutorials.
